Our Featured IAWR Member is Marianne Black. Marianne is 55 years old and has been running for over 20 years. She caught the marathon bug fairly recently, running four of her five marathons during the past two years.
In May 2010, she knocked 22 minutes off her personal best marathon time and qualified for Boston in Ottawa (3:51:31). Despite getting a late start to her training for Boston 2011, she requalified for Boston at Boston. Six weeks later, Marianne ran a solid 3:53:54 in Ottawa, beating her Boston qualifying time by over 21 minutes.
Thank you for all the guidance, support and level headed and intelligent advice. Working with you through this season has been irreplaceable.
